Just open a jar of our pesto to savor the unmistakable aromas of our land, Liguria. Made with only the finest traditional ingredients, such as Genoese Basil DOP, extra virgin olive oil, premium pine nuts, and 30-month Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. Our pesto is unpasteurized to preserve all its goodness, its characteristic bright green color, its fresh aromas, and its authentic flavor.
Ingredients:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 62%, concentrated Genoese PDO Basil 26%, pine nuts, salt, aged Parmigiano Reggiano PDO ( milk , salt, rennet), garlic, wine vinegar, acidity regulator: lactic acid, citric acid.
For a typical Ligurian pesto pasta, cook thinly sliced potatoes and a handful of green beans alongside the pasta, and season with the pesto diluted with a couple of tablespoons of the cooking water and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Remember not to add too much salt to the cooking water.
