Only the finest traditional ingredients, such as Genoese Basil DOP, extra virgin olive oil, premium pine nuts, and 30-month Parmigiano Reggiano, are used, along with a delicate process to preserve all the goodness and distinctive bright green color of Genoese basil. The garlic-free recipe gives it a delicate, light, and fresh flavor that satisfies even the most discerning palates.
Ingredients:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 62%, concentrated Genoese PDO Basil 26%, pine nuts, salt, aged Parmigiano Reggiano PDO ( milk , salt, rennet), wine vinegar, acidity regulator: lactic acid, citric acid.
For a typical Ligurian pesto pasta, cook thinly sliced potatoes and a handful of green beans alongside the pasta, and season with the pesto diluted with a couple of tablespoons of the cooking water and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Remember not to add too much salt to the cooking water.
